“ I was on the hunt for a really good burger and an offering of fried mushrooms and good ole Yelp helped me find just that. We called in an order for a bacon cheeseburger (single patty) all the way, a bacon cheeseburger (single patty) no onion, no condiments and added avocado along with 2 jr cheeseburgers, family fries and fried mushrooms. Ordering over the phone was easy, service was friendly. Pick up was just as easy since you pay beforehand. The inside of the restaurant was nice, a very chill environment. There was a cool upstairs area that looks like you could have a decent sized party, really cool. Now the food! First off, the burger is huge! The patty was seasoned really well, the bacon was crispy and just perfect, the cheese was perfectly melty. Overall, a solid and delicious burger. We all agreed, definitely want to return to try some of the other stuff, especially that chicken fried steak sandwich. My only issue was that the fries and mushrooms were a little soggy but I chalk that up to the drive home. Nothing an air fryer couldn't fix. The mushrooms were large and that ranch was tasty! My only other criticism would be the that the mushrooms lacked flavor or even salt but overall, still solid. Sadly, no pictures. The family was very hungry ”

“ First Time here and what a Totally Awesome Experience..... As soon as ya walk into this joint, Ya feel like it's a home kitchen with a dining area attached to it. Very comfortable surroundings with Texas Memorabilia from floors to ceilings plus wall's. Ordering station/counter & then sit down or do a takeout order. No drive-thru here...no space for it. Plenty of seating along with 2 working pianos too.... There was a young boy playing "Beethovens Moonlight Sonata" flawlessly as I sat down to eat my delicious beefy big yummy burger with tasty crispy crunchy tater tots with fluffy soft insides. Toasted bun with Fresh lettuce & tomatoes on this beefy Yummilicious burger. I complimented the young boy & there Parent's while I listened to his Divine Music while eating this Juicy Burger n Tots Definitely coming back for another round‼ ”

“ Wife and I were in the area and stopped by for a dinner bite to eat craving a burger. Burger was decent size and decent. Tater tot were slightly over done and dry so not too good on this occasion. The decor went well with the name and even learned some history. Service was mostly friendly, not exactly quick but not OMG slow either. I would like to go back and try some of the other menu options. ”

“ I had a Philly cheese steak and my son got a bacon cheeseburger. I thought my Philly was very good. The best I've had in a while and probably my favorite in San Antonio. My sone liked his burger but it didn't blow his mind. I'm not a big fan of the layout. It feels cramped and there's poor flow for foot traffic. I only interacted with the cashier, but she's was pleasant. I bet I'll be back with or without any youngsters. ”

“ First time customer who came with the hubsters around 615pm in a Friday... we ordered a chili cheese dog with tots and a Philly cheese steak sandwich with fries to-go. Large space but unfamiliar with process. You see customers throughout the area.. dine in and to go customers sitting throughout the space. Your receipt has a number and you'll wait to be called. Once you pay, you may come around towards the other side of the restaurant to grab your drinks, plastic ware, lids, and drink covers. *Tip* Try your drink (soda/tea/lemonade ) before you leave to make sure it's to your liking. Otherwise, they have alcoholic beverages located by cashier. I'm not sure what I was expecting, but when we got to our destination with our to go order, I realized that I probably should've grabbed a to go box/plate for my order. The hotdog comes with the condiment(s) of your choice, if any, packed in a hotdog bag which kept it warm. My shredded cheese and chili sauce came in their own separate styrofoam containers. The tots and fries were half orders but a decent serving size that was uniquely wrapped. Now... They call this a burger joint but man oh man their Philly cheese steak was off the hooook! This was the first place in San Antonio that I've been to which served a sandwich that really satisfied my tastebuds! *Highly recommend you try* tots were nice and crisp/fries pretty good as well. BUT THAT CHEESESTEAK *Chefs Kiss Definitely coming back for that! ”

“ After fixing the error of driving past this place most of my adult life I chose today to make a stand. Sample the menu and of course cut no corners with my order. Single cheeseburger all the way, combo'd with tater tots a soft drink and a naked honest chocolate shake. Gotta say, impressively fresh, lively crew and midweek lunch crowd. Struck up a newsworthy best burger conversation with an older married retiree couple at the next table. That's a plus! The place had plenty of cautionary signs up about unposted price increases regarding the Biden Crime Family Era but if you're looking for a local funky burger you definitely want to play here. Good stuff. Normally tomatoes and pickles can kill an assembled burger. Nope. Layered nice cut thin enough to flavor. Add seasoning to taste and put it in your belly! Be glad you did. Not many places left that can make you happy like this. ”

“ I've been here a few times before and have had good experiences. Decided to go to lunch here. I got the cheeseburger combo. I asked for 1/2 fries and 1/2 tots. There was an extra charge to do that which I was ok with, but I wish they would've at least told me. The food was very good. They have fresh cut fries that were cooked perfectly and seasoned well. The burger was also cooked and seasoned very well. Highly recommend. ”
